Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since her teenage years, Rosalia Vila has been involved in popular flamenco and music. She also explores various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is described by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to those of the past. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the track Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia performed solo for the first time on the show. Motomami was the sole female ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
