Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress best known for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. In the 80s, she began her acting career, and was well-known for the character Tezaab, in which she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her next appearance was in Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. Born into an Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance in her early years. Early in her life, as she began acting as a young actress, most films she produced were not successful. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. After her wedding, she took a break in her career before re-entering the industry. Dixit played an important role in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of these. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her name is well-known for her work in the field of social service as well.
